Hey everyone!  My name is Bonny.  I'm between 6-7 years old.   So many dogs have come and gone, yet, I'm still here in rescue.  I am the longest resident, having been rescued on June 4, 2014 from a Midlands shelter, where I was picked up as a stray. I had a good life at one point; I was already spayed and microchipped! While my rescuers investigated the microchip, they learned that it had been re-registered in 2010, meaning that in 2014 my then current owner decided he no longer wanted me, and let me out to fend for herself. 

I don't like small dogs. AT ALL. I tolerated a cat swatting at me, ignoring him after that, and I like kids. Given my dislike of small dogs, I would prefer a home with older children. On most days I will tolerate large dogs. That's on MOST DAYS, not on all days. I would prefer to be the only dog.  I truly love people EVERYDAY. I have been told that I am your best low-maintenance companion. I love to run around the yard.  I don't need to be housed in a crate when you aren't home. I am the perfect companion for someone with a low-energy lifestyle who likes the company of a four-legged friend.

I just really want some loving.  When can we meet?

This little girl is so unassuming and just likes the world! She will do best as an only pet. Oh and she loves belly rubs.
